Colmen's Quest is a very promising Early Access fantasy turn-based RPG

Nice RPG and fun to play. Because it's classless and the skills are quite diverse and unique, you really can create your own character.

There's indeed no perma-death but the levels are still procedural generated - not an issue but some people might assume it's not when it's advertised as "Not a roguelike game".

You can try out the demo and if you like it you can buy the official version and continue playing, a nice touch. They've recently added two more outdoor areas too ("The Swamp" and "The Wailing Forest").

Can be properly played by keyboard and mouse. Some recent games like Littlewood and Fell Seal are developed for the gamepad and keyboard/mouse support bolted on top if it - and I don't like it. So if you're a gamepad fan, you certainly should try out the demo first.

Quoting: IggiFor Serious Sam: The First Encounter there's also the original Linux installer from icculus.org [External Link] or an updated installer from the Loki Installers for Linux Gamers project [External Link] if you don't want to build the engine yourself.
Too bad the icculus link is broken (and I can't find it on his site anymore...).
And the liflg one wants the disk :(
The icculus URL had a parenthesis added, this should work: https://icculus.org/betas/ssam/ [External Link]

Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark - Missions and Monsters expansion is out now

As a DLC it requires "Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark" which is now 66% off at Gog [External Link] and Steam [External Link].

The game looks good and the story so far is interesting but it's clearly designed for the console/gamepad and the controls on the PC when you play with mouse/keyboard are a bit frustrating - but hopefully I'll get used to it after playing it for a few hours.

I like reading interviews like this, always interesting. Maybe an idea to have something like this on a monthly basis?
