I point out that I'd raised this issue with them shortly after Cognition's release. The excuse was the same one given then. And they've been reluctant to give any indication of a Linux release for the Gabriel Knight remake, too. So what did they do?

Good question! Valve's ToGL's performance isn't bad, though, so something like that isn't something I automatically frown upon.

GOG Linux support is much more likely due to their owners deciding to support Linux with Witcher 2.
