Looks good for the one time I was actually able to connect to a server. It was empty, though. Since then, game crashes when trying to load another server. They said they will be doing frequent updates so I will be patiently waiting. Looks very promising.

Why Are We Still Dual Booting?

I have no more windows partitions as of 4 years ago. It's not even allowed on my computers unless it's in a virtual machine. I have windows 7 in virtualbox only to check to make sure my resume looks good in Word after editing it in Libreoffice. The only game I use in Wine is Unreal Tournament GOTY edition because I'm pretty sure after 16 years, it's not coming to Linux.

GOL Asks Again: What Have You Been Playing Recently?

I recently got Sanctum 2 on steam during a sale they had and it's so fun. Haven't played multiplayer yet as I'm learning. Also, got Metro Last Light since it was on sale and having fun with that, too. Playing Team Fortress 2 as well. But what's had my attention the most for the last 10 years is Unreal Tournament 2004.

Quoting: stssXonotic is actually pretty good. It just doesn't have a very high playerbase last time I checked which is kind of essential.
True. Xonotic and Nexuiz is very fun to play but lack the player base.

I've been a UT fan since GOTY edition and still play GOTY and 2004 just about every day. I can get GOTY edition to run under wine with no problems and great performance and run 2004 natively on linux. I am so looking forward to this next release but having the game free and having a marketplace is going to be kind of weird for me. Maybe it'll be better. Looking at the work the developers are putting into it, I think this will be a great game, especially for Linux.
