Mesa 24.1.0 released with big improvements for NVK, Zink, Explicit Sync

On Debian 12 Bookworm, i have compiled and installed the last version of python3-zombie-imp from testing in order to compile/install cython3-legacy from testing in order to compile/install meson from testing in order to compile/install mesa 24.1.0 from git, but the later also require libdrm >=2.4.119 so i have compiled libdrm 2.4.120 from testing, all of that for i386 *and* amd64, so for now 8 compilations to be able to compile/install mesa (also for i386 and amd64), and...

"src/nouveau/compiler/meson.build:12:2: ERROR: Problem encountered: NAK requires Rust 1.73.0"

Ok new rustc require a new version of libllvm16t64 with maybe requires another thing...
EDIT: it does, i have to compile many things until the libc to be able to compile the new rustc xD

I think i will wait for Debian 13 Trixie (in a year or so) for this one... i have tried. :D

Baldur's Gate 3 on Steam Deck is 'absolutely wild' and aims for 30FPS on Medium

Quoting: williamjcmA shame the current version of the game doesn't run on AMD GPUs on Linux (except Steam Deck, it seems) if you select the Vulkan renderer, no matter if you use AMDVLK or RADV drivers.

The D3D11 renderer does work, but vegetation has some nasty flickering.

I really hope it'll be fixed for the game's launch.
I dont understand, im on Debian 12, last stable MESA (RADV), with an AND RX6600XT and it runs out of the box.
I dont have any workaround, command launch option or anything like that, bought and installed trought Steam, select Proton GE 8.4, and go (i have not disabled anything).
Maybe it was not working before official release ? i have installed it yesterday, created my character, and played it like 2 hours without any issue.

I like this one too, but it deserves a more metal version :)

This game just makes me remember one thing...

Sure we will release TW3 on linux, you can even preorder it !
Some months later : "Sorry, we will not release under Linux, why ? Simple, the Linux users were pretty harsh with us on TW2 Linux release, so we don't release for them anymore"

Fun fact : they still release For Playstation and Windows even if the players were harsh with them after the release of CP2077 (I think way more than for Linux TW2 release)...

Oh and the rage for TW2 must be around 2014, and they were working on TW3 for Linux on 2015, and then cancelling it in 2016...

Yeah i'm a bit embittered, but it happens when i think someone is lying to me.
