I can debootsrap on my old Windows partition (not booted from 2017).
if you already are familiar with debian then yeah the rolling variant would be for you i would think.
I'm pretty familiar with Debian, but there is no rolling variant (it is possible to use testing but its seems to be radical, and testing does not receive updates during freezes).

Maybe Arch is the way to go ?

Hmmm, i think i have to drop Debian... MESA is the only thing problematic (i can have recent packets via flathub integrated to gnome-software, but MESA is another story).

Quoting: slaapliedje
Quoting: AkonadySo what really is the graphics about in this game?
They wanted to go for the look of a PS1 game, from my understanding.

I've only seen one Draugr that was stuck in stone, but fortunately he was not an archer. When I returned to the area, he'd popped out of the rock, and was easily dispatched. Though we did beat Yagluth last night. Now our plan is to go through all the bosses a second time so we can hang their heads around our keep!
Oh! it's seems they have a monster powered PS1, or they just forgot about PS1 graphics !

They are inspired by Zelda BOTW and PS1 graphics, the game is somewhere in the middle, with better light effects.

Quoting: DebianUserWow, i have finished this game years ago... on PS2 i think.
That's good news, but i see reviews are not good.
This version seems to be censored... bad.
Would you happen to have a list or a link of things censored in this game?
Its seems that all enemies symbols (german, japanese) are removed and not replaced by anything (swastikas, iron cross, Japanese Imperial symbols)
Animations of burning ennemies are removed too.
No changes in gameplay, but very disappointing (the dev has said it was to not break the law on different countries, but... its not a viable argument, since these symbols are allowed in representation of historical events all over the world).
One country have banned this symbols: Germany, but it's not the case anymore (since 2018) in this context.
Wow, that is so completely unnecessary. This is just me guessing, but they probably didn't want to make and maintain two separate versions of the game - censored and uncensored - so they just made the latter and called it a day.
This is what they have said, but everybody is angry because they could only have one uncensored version without any problem regarding laws...
