Is the battery easily replaceable and, importantly, with readily available replacement batteries?

It’s looking to me that anything with a Li/USB rechargeable battery is just a disposable device ready for landfill after a few years.
  • I wanted to turn my old Vita into an emulation handheld. Found out it only holds 7% battery now. Spent just over $50 to get a replacement 3rd party battery which only gives me about an hour of play.

  • Switch Pro controller needs to be put on charger after nearly every play session. Otherwise seems to be out of juice when I want to play next. Luckily we have a spare Switch controller that uses AA batteries which we always have ready to go in our battery charger.

  • I have a DS that won’t charge, battery’s dead and I can’t find a replacement.

Quoting: ZlopezPoE? You mean Pillars of Eternity? I don't think that has anything else than price tag + DLCs, which is OK.
Path of Exile. It has microtransactions but they’re typically not considered as predatory as in big budget games.

Wtf is Armoured Core? Never heard of this series before and suddenly it’s sixth iteration Is the most popular game.

Nice seeing those modern classics - Stardew, Dead Cells, Vampires are all still pulling in, but I’m always surprised Terraria doesn’t seem to make these lists anymore. It’s still great, infinitely replayable, awesome co-op, and still getting free updates.

And Risk of Rain Returns… I played the original to death, but I thought it would be unplayable on steam deck with its tiny sprites. This new version must do better zoom/scaling, but then do you see enough of the screen or is it way harder?

Quoting: Caleb_MIf only they could get SkyUI in their store, I'd come back in a heartbeat. Skyrim on deck sounds awesome. But SkyUI is absolutely required for me to enjoy it.
I wish Fall of the Space Core was on there too... ☄️
Do you people not know you can most likely install the mods from Nexus?? you are not stuck using the in game mod browser

Edit: NVM noticed that mod hasn't been updated but I do know SkyUI is on nexus updated for Skyrim SE
Never had luck getting mods going on Linux. It was a struggle as it is with Skyrim modding on Windows back then, leaving the game temperamental and unstable as hell, let alone the nightmare that is trying to do it under Wine.

$1279 on Kogan. It’s too much, haven’t been able to justify $759 for the lcd version yet.

I can’t afford a Deck (because mortgage) but I really wish I could. I’ve just started a play through Human Revolution > Mankind Divided > Deus Ex.
But after a week I’m only a couple hours into Human Revolution. If I had a deck I’d at least be able to play it more than 30 minutes at a time. Guess I’ll be done by 2052.

Whilst I did really enjoy playing Monster Hunter World a few years back, it kept doing updates where it did a big 90gb download so I had to uninstall it.

Quoting: Kuduzkehpandoesn't metro exodus EE is native linux ? with A4 engine ? also what is different between normal and EE of games ? texture pack, rendering ? little bit confused. and why dont they make ee native linux for exodus ?
Does the gog version specify the differences? I’m pretty sure I remember the gog store page saying something about Ray tracing and if you don’t have a card that supports Ray tracing then don’t even bother with it.
