Dang, I wasn't expecting an official answer (Feral still surprises me). So I guess I'll get the game anyway, it's not my job to make it run well (it's my computer's, but it's a brave veteran soldier). I'm a mean boss.

So in practice can I read "minimum requirements" as "lowest-end PC we tested on that gave acceptable performance"?

I wonder how those specs are defined. I mean, technically you can probably run games like this even a low-end laptops, but you'd have to set graphics to a minimum and tolerate choppy framerates. I ask because my PC failed to meet the minimum requirements for most 2016 Linux ports, but I still managed to have a wonderful time playing AAA games like Tomb Raider and Shadow of Mordor on 30-60 fps and, 1080 resolution and graphics usually set to mid-high.

Awesome. I won't pre-purchase, but I am confident enough on the Linux version to put it on my wishlist. :P
