well damn, it looks like I won't be playing it at launch then... :-( I was really hoping it would have worked on WINE/Proton regardless of GPU ... I hope eventually Nvidia drivers get updated so this will play

I suppose I could get the PS4 version, but FPSes really demand mouse+keyboard for me

I just downloaded the Windows standalone package of Ch. 1 & 2 ... it seems like it runs great on WINE using Lutris.. just have to figure out how to keep my mouse restricted to one viewport

edit: d'oh of course.. had to set it so my other monitors 'power off' during play.. solves the problem

Anyone know if you can manually update PyGObject (and the python3-gi pacakage) to an acceptable level to install it?

There seems to be stand-alone pkgs, but I don't know if it royally breaks things if you were to install out of tree

this this was an PITA the last time i tried to setup, hopefully this time will be easier and the tutorials wont be outdated...
Agreed -- if this works it'll be huge.. I;ve been having to recompile v4l2loopback from source each time i do a kernel update

weird .. my version.txt file says i have
steam-runtime_0.20201104.0

..that's not listed on either of the Scout or Soldier links..
I've already been using the Steam Beta client.. so not sure what's up
