Went with a Framework recently.
One design competence that most companies fail at is properly balancing the USB ports. USB-C & USB-A should have one on each side versus same side next to each other. You Don't know if the power will come from right or left of the laptop from the outlet. It improves user experience when lying down on a couch because it allows the cord to be plugged into the non-backing side.

Nexus Mods app 0.15.2 brings updater improvements and more bug fixes

"loads faster and makes it easier to manage" Are you saying people do not like improvement in performance and ease of use?
Performant with ease of use what I strive for and often look for in a solution. Wouldn't shaving 500mb of RAM for a MOD manager would be beneficial? Or having means to toggle MOD package updating / downloading so it does not run while gaming?

Nexus Mods to get Age Verification in UK / EU for adult content, plus a new cross-platform app upgrade

There is also a possible chance that large social platforms will start become less engaging by the masses with Age Verification (AV). This could push content creators that rely on Nexus for discussion and distribution towards more self-hosted or community forums and servers. Nexus might not like the fragmentation. Does Facebook and X-Twitter have AV? This might a be an indirect way to reduce consumer consumption of these CEO baddies.

imagine blocking legit customers from accessing a game they bought.Well you really don't own the game. You buy a lease / license to be able to play the game. GOG is the closet you will ever come to owning games and that is there no user account required to play the game.

As further described in the ZeniMax Terms of Service, subject to the Statutory Obligations, ZeniMax may change, modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Game at any time and ZeniMax may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts or all of the Game without notice or liability. We really need better consumer protection and "purchase" should mean full ownership of the product. Otherwise it is just single cost lease agreement.

We really need to stop supporting billionaires like Jeff Bozes. He treats his employees like crap and views the completely disposable. I support Bill Burr stance on billionaires. I'll buy the games full price on Steam or GOG before getting them on Amazon Prime.

Turns out Steam has standards like Nintendo and don't want to follow the video game crash of 1983 by pushing bad product.
Others, like Time Sweeney, keep operating with little to no standards. Took about three years to implement a simple checkout cart. They cannot compete on standards so they fallback to exclusivity and offering free games here and there.

Take-Two CEO believes AI will actually increase employment and productivity

Lot of engineering times goes into "How can the cost of production go down?" Example, cost of prototyping a plastic enclosure has gone down with 3d printers. This does not mean it results in better pay for the employees, only share holders.
Companies really needs more simplistic changes to sell more. EA, ditching the custom launcher is a big step. More companies that offer a guest check on their websites sell more than websites that require you to create an account and manage it.

Unless he thinks we're also going to somehow sell even more games and products.Looks like Take Two CEO is going to push for legislation and change the end user license agreement so each AI/ML projects requires buying a new license per-training session.
Technically it is at least plausible that the introduction of AI (even assuming it's doing a good job) could result in both productivity increase and employment increase on the assumption that it involves more people in the production on value.Horse and buggy to cars shows it is possible. The issues is in how long it took to produce prevented mass consumption of products during the horse and buggy days. It was not lack of buying power of the market but cost. Labor shortage is often what drove automation innovation, like the loom.

Thanks. Unfortunately anything from Amazon is DOA for me. I'll take Jeff Bezos's money and never give him a dime. He is not a good person and Amazon is so large they demand free engineering labor, in the millions of dollars. Personal experience.

Maybe this will actually push to them to fund supporting the keyboards & mice in Linux and not having to use Windows to program the buttons.
