Quoting: EriExactly what you said, I played 2 hours yesterday and I had a lot of fun, even when I lost money on the run . Balancing the loadout cost according to the objectives can be tricky but, correct me if I'm wrong, most of the times is better to start with excess than having to resupply in the middle of the run.yeah iirc the mid-run resupplies are expensive... damn now I want to reinstall it.

Quoting: Eri<3 <3Quoting: anewsonCryptark is criminally underrated; it's an action roguelike with very cool heist-planning mechanics.Hmmm it comes with the 1 item bundle for 1€. I'm not a big fan of autoscroll bullethells like R-Type or Sine Mora but I liked Furi or Enter the Gungeon. For the cost of a snack I will take the risk, what you said about preparing the run like it's a heist got me intrigued.

Quoting: wvstolzingI agree, DX not renowned for it's "gray urban 2AM homelessness epidemic" aesthetic hahaQuoting: anewsonYeah, but DX 1's (which is what's meant here) aesthetics aren't terribly distinctive; when someone shows a screen that looks cyberpunky with the blurb 'inspired by DX', one immediately thinks of 'emergent' gameplay, alternate pathways, etc.Quoting: wvstolzingThis looks seriously good; though I'd love to see some more 'immersive sim' elements showcased to fully earn the 'inspired by Deus Ex' blurb they use in their marketing.yeah I thought the same, but I think they mean aesthetically inspired.

Quoting: slaapliedjeSpending the first 10 hours in and out of the control bindings screen is a classic elite W.Quoting: anewsonYeah, the peripherals / controls definitely make you more immersed in the game. I need to fire it back up now that I got chair mounts for my Thrustmaster Warthog setup... granted, I'll need to re-learn the controls, since it's been quite a while since I played it.Quoting: slaapliedjeI had a lot of fun with Elite using M+KB, then switched to HOTAS, eventually sold the HOTAS, and now I can't go back to Elite, it's just not the same :(Quoting: anewsonI think this marks the denouement of the latest VR push... seems like it's going to stay an optional nice-to-have for supported games.I suppose it's sort of akin to having a HOTAS setup for flight simulators. Sure, you COULD play it with a keyboard and mouse... but are you really getting the full enjoyment out of the game? Like I can't even imagine playing Elite: Dangerous with a keyboard / mouse, or for that matter a gamepad, though I've tried this on the PS4, it just doesn't feel the same.
This is one of the reasons I prefer real hardware over emulation; half the enjoyment is from using the original control scheme.

Awesomenauts was my favourite MOBA and it still has a small but active community. Hopefully this injects some cash into the game, I'm sure the players are happy it.
