Always nice to see some well-written documentation /s.

Still, always nice seeing some investment into Wayland, it is the superior tech.

Unfortunately my OpenGL experience is limited to making a window in jogl once. Still, it shouldn't be too hard to find people, if they know where to advertise the offer.

*sigh* The state of Linux gaming...

GOG is DRM free, but doesn't support Linux with its client.
Steam heavily supports Linux, but are very DRM... though not as much as Stadia.
Itch is wonderful, but is very lacking in many different genres.

Oh well, it's the dawn of a new decade, who knows what the 2020's will bring.

I wonder if there is as much money laundering going on in FOSS as in art.

Xenoverse 2 is a good game. If it wasn't Google Stadia, I'd check it out.

...Hang on, does that mean that there is a Linux version of Xenoverse 2? They should put that on Steam.

Wow, Microsoft is being so good to Linux. Almost like they're... hugging us. A tender and loving embrace, I'm sure.

Testing using a rubbish Kubuntu laptop, across the house and down a level right at the back. Wireless speed there gave me about 50Mbps down
Dear lord, 50Mbps? I'm sitting at my desk right next to my router and I only get 20 down, which is still better than the norm. That is, by the way, the main reason Stadia will fail: most people don't have amazing internet.

Google reveal Stadia will only have 12 games available at launch, more later in the year

Quoting: bubexelWe are not the target for Stadia, and it's not going to replace or fight against PC market. It's more against console war.
This.
Google literally says at their store:
"Stadia - Games, without a console or downloads"
(In German, it's "Stadia – Spiele ganz ohne Konsole" - it doesn't talk about the downloads part.)
I've seen it called a "virtual console", which seems to fit well.
Without downloads?! What is this, play-by-post?
