I personally thought this game was hot garbage on windows. I honestly hope you guys get your money's worth, because I think you guys are better off buying a better game.

"I get that having multiple operating systems during a beta can increase support load, but how can they expect to have a polished Linux release without outside testing like Windows gets?"

Same thing happened for Pillars of Eternity and Wasteland 2, and the linux version of those games turned out fine (besides the linux performance tax you see in all unity games :p).

Besides, this is a story driven game, so I would rather wait for the release day to play it.

First Steps with OpenVR and the Vive on Linux

VR is the future, whether you like it or not. I think VR sucks right now, but even then I found the HTC vive to be an immersive experience.

Testing The Talos Principle OpenGL vs Vulkan again, now that Valve have fixed the Steam Overlay

Quoting: maodzedunWhere does the bottleneck come from, though? There is about 20% performance difference between 1080p and 4K which makes zero sense.
The fact that it's 4k makes a lot of sense. It's that demanding.

Saints Row 2 Linux port report, not good

Waste of time porting SR2. I couldn't even get the Windows version to run, so it's obvious a wrapped Linux version was going to be even worse.

"It's a shame, but I can see Valve's real point, they don't want any actual competition for sales coming from something on their own store."

I seriously doubt it, otherwise a service like uplay wouldn't be allowed.

Sucks to see them go because I really liked Geist when I played it on the Gamecube. However, SCL was a mediocre WRPG that was inferior to a game that came out a few months earlier (Pillars of Eternity).

Atari Vault released for Windows, Linux build coming soon

Overreacting much? Modern day Atari has always been crooked, but I don't see what they did wrong here. Most linux game release have never been day one. They NEVER promise a day one release. They simply said they're targetting a Linux release date.

Obsidian and Paradox team up for new RPG called Tyranny and it's coming to Linux

Quoting: BillNyeTheBlackGuyIf you want a 3rd person RPG, then go play a bioware game.
What an excellent suggestion! Now please, point me in the direction of the Bioware Linux games, cause I've not found that department yet. I'm really very confused about this.
Could you toss me a copy of the Fallout 4 Linux build too, while you're at it?
If you don't know how to play any of those games on Linux, then that's your problem. I rather not have Obsidian stop making Isometric RPGs because some causal can't stand looking at a top down 2d view.
