Quoting: BillNyeTheBlackGuyNice. Here's hoping they go for turn based combat this time.
I can't think of an Obsidian game where they used turn based combat. I wouldn't be against it but I wouldn't get your hopes up.
Stick of truth?

Quoting: BeamboomWhat's wrong with 3rd person perspective - heck even first person perspective? Come on Paradox and Obsidian, surely you guys got enough resources and skill to make it into more than the standard isometric view.
If you want a 3rd person RPG, then go play a bioware game.

Humble Indie Bundle 16 launches, great selection with Sunless Sea now officially on Linux

Enjoy your really small text on the sunless sea. it annoyed the heck out of me when I was trying to play it on my TV. Otherwise, it's a good game.

Ill be getting the average for Trine 3. I'll finally get a chance to play it.

Why waste time porting a game that's dying? The low percentage of Linux users certainly isn't going to help the numbers. There is reason why this garbage lost a lot of players, and I certainly don't think Linux players are going to waste their time on this game either. I rather they port another popular AAA game instead.

Pillars of Eternity: The White March - Part II is now available

Quoting: gojulThe problem is that once you've beaten Thalos you cannot reach the expansion content :'(
Despite being a place of no return, Chapter 4 is only 1-2 hours long. So you can easily go back to a chapter 3 save file. Also, the game makes a pre chapter 4 save before you just into the pit. You can easily access White March content with that save file.

The Talos Principle getting a Linux build using Vulkan in a few days

Quoting: DamonLinuxPLFor now The Talos Principle on Vulkan is only wrapped... Nothing interested in performance state.
Despite being wrapped, it's performing better than OpenGL on windows. That's a good start if the Linux results are similar.

Street Fighter V will release on Linux & SteamOS this Spring time

Quoting: omer666P.S. : I tried some KOF not long ago on a Steam Controller and it was the worst vs fighting experience I had since the XBox 360 and its crappy cross. To be fair, I think it's the only thing this controller can't handle. I think it's time for getting an X-Arcade...
Set the left touch pad as touch. I had no problem doing moves like Clark's running three or Geese's raging storm after that. The dpad is still better though.

Game is great so far from what I played. My only problem with the game is I think all the profanity in the game is way out of place. Way too much cursing for the sake of cursing at times, but that's just a minor gripe.

Ars slams SteamOS over issues with a single machine and a 4K monitor

Quoting: TheBossSadly I tried to chat to the author on twitter, he stands by the headline because he really doesn't see a point in SteamOS. We have our work cut out for us folks.
What work? If he doesn't like it, then he doesn't like it. Nothing we can do about it. :(
