Quoting: GuestOh, they use Unity… I think I’ll pass.
Why do people keep saying this? If you don't like unity, then keep it to yourself. Indie develops have no choice but to use it since it cost less to use than other engines.

Two Worlds II Is Not Coming To Linux, Well Maybe, We Aren't Sure Anymore

Quoting: strel0ckIf Raven's Cry is anything like Two Worlds 1+2, then yes it will be shitty. I put in about 5-6 hours in Two Worlds 1+2 and just couldn't do it. I normally love games like this. I would have tried again if it came to Linux, but meh, I don't care either way. Although more games for Linux is always good.
*shrugs* I enjoyed both Two Worlds game (and the gothic series of games), so whatever.

Shadowrun: Hong Kong, A New Game & Kickstarter From Harebrained Schemes
15 Jan 2015 at 8:18 pm UTC

Quoting: PublicNuisanceI can understand some people's reluctance to use Kickstarter but there's almost as much risk in buying a $60 AAA these days. With Kickstarter you spend closer to $15 and help fund a game that might otherwise not get made. With the $60 AAA game you usually end up beta testing their latest buggy release wondering why you trusted them. Both have risks. The Kickstarter may not get made, the AAA game may be crap. I'm a lover of the indie scene and think they're doing the best work right now. If I can scrounge up $15 in the next 33 days you can bet I'm backing this.
And in this case, they already have the funds to release their 3rd shadowrun game. They're asking for extra money so they can make the game even better. If you enjoyed the last two SR games, then I don't see why it would hurt to donate $15 dollars now.

Pillars Of Eternity, The RPG Aims For A Same-day Linux Release On March 26th

Quoting: SslaxxConsidering that they've never got round to releasing a beta build for Linux (and this strongly implies that, despite what they've said over the last few days, the last beta build won't have Linux binaries either), well pardon me for not having any confidence in that statement.

Not supporting another Obsidian Kickstarter again. Almost as shitty treatment for Linux players as by Larian and Divinity: Original Sin. Very disappointing.
Overreacting much? It's a freaking beta. They want to make sure it's stable before they release it. God knows we don't need another Obsidian game filled with bugs.

Shadowrun: Hong Kong, A New Game & Kickstarter From Harebrained Schemes

Just pledged $150. Dragonfall is my personal GOTY of 2015. If you're a big fan of CRPGs and you haven't played it yet, then you're missing out. The game is that good.

New Minecraft Game Announced Coming From Telltale Games, Linux Status Unknown

Quoting: Bumadarsorry but what made you think telltale would release this on linux, because its an adventure about a game that is available on linux ? telltale has never release their games on linux.
I have to agree. I'm surprised this was covered here. Telltale has never had any interest in Linux. I've been following their games since they released Bone (though not as closely in recent years as I've lost interest in the licenses they make games for).

That said, they have been newly supporting Android recently, so there's always the possibility they change their mind, but I really doubt it.

They have never ruled Linux out.
That was nearly a year ago. Besides that quote, thehy haven't seem to show any interest in Linux. You would think we would have gotten Tales from the Borderlands, but nope. :(

I enjoyed the public test a lot. In fact, I enjoyed it so much, I preordered the game, which is something I rarely do. :D

I suggest you people try the public test demo. It's a fun portal like game.

You keep bringing this up whenever Feral is mentioned. You're a troll who beyond help.

Time To Guess What Feral Interactive Are Working On, New Teaser

Quoting: GBeeApparently a new clue - http://www.feralinteractive.com/en/upcoming [External Link]

One of those games is the game related to the King Penguin clue.

From googling it seems the 'new' game is the one with the clue "Owner of a lonely heart" with a picture of Barrels. All the others are mentioned in the Feral forums from earlier this year (one from two years ago!).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Owner_of_a_Lonely_Heart [External Link]

Oh, they also stated in this latest clue that it's an upcoming Mac game, no mention of linux. So perhaps we jumped to conclusions when they posted a picture of a penguin?
Considering a Feral employee just posted something 3 pages ago, I think this game is coming to Linux.
