Quoting: EikeBasically, a few bad apples spoiled a bunch.Quoting: adolsonIt seems like Linux support actually is a relatively high priority, considering they released it simultaneously and the fact that they even released it at all. Your final verdict seems to also indicate this, considering it's a Unity title, and more often than not, they are rife with problems on Linux; it seems they may have actually tested it, too.I wonder where this bad impression of Unity games on this website comes from. I've played many of them on Linux (a dozen?), and I can't remember a single problem.

Quoting: TealNo loss. Just play Dota, it's better anyway.S2 Games is focusing on Strife anyway, which is a nice alternate to LoL. I highly recommend anyone who is a fan of Dota style games to try Strife out.
Or HoN, which is also a Linux supporting moba and was also a better game than LoL, it's just kinda ded at this point.

Quoting: Linux223If we are going down the road of actually accepting wrapped ports on Linux but native on Mac, then I will go back to WINE or buy a Mac.Good. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
Larian Studios Detail Why The Linux Port Of Divinity Is Taking So Damn Long

Thankfully Torchlight 2 just came out on Linux, and that game is right up your alley.

Quoting: EKRboiThis game looks like it will be a ton of fun when it comes out (for Linux). I just wished games like this had a "hack-n-slash" mode since I'm not generally a huge fan of turn based combat,Doing both turn based and real time combat systems in a game never works. Both systems would just end up being mediocre. It's hard enough to balance one combat system in a game.

If this means that future Larian titles will have Linux support from the group up, then I'll gladly wait.
Mad Max From Avalanche Studios Confirmed For Linux

Nevertheless, I don't particular care whether a game has an AAA budget or not. The games I'm looking forward to this year are Cities Skylines and Pillars of Eternity, and those games are being made on a mid tier budget.

Quoting: ShmerlSorry, I should have been more clear. By AAA games, I didn't mean quality. I meant the $60 shallow console games with big budgets Those of the type of games you won't see on GoG because they are owned by big corporations.Quoting: BillNyeTheBlackGuyTimes are changing. The meaning of AAA becomes less relevant. Most of the games I actually care about are released DRM-free already (inXile, Larian, Obsidian, now OtherSide and etc.).Quoting: ShmerlDRM-free release?Lol. A new AAA game with a DRM free release? No chance in this age unless it's from CDP themselves.
UPDATE: Ah, I didn't realize its owned by WB. Low chances of it coming out DRM-free then.
This is good news, although I rather have Just Cause 3 instead. I put a lot of hours into JC2.

Quoting: Segata SanshiroI really need to play the first Shadowrun game still, it's been sitting in my library for ages now. The games look really great, so hopefully I will have played the other two before this one is released.Don't bother with the first game; it's mediocre. Dragonfall is a million times better, so just skip right to dragonfall.

Yawn, another hack and slash RPG. Call me when we get an action RPG with Dark Souls like gameplay. In the meantime, I'll keep playing traditional turn based RPGs.

Quoting: ShmerlI hope it won't be plagued by performance problems like many Unity games on Linux.Blame that on the developers who don't know how to optimize. There are many unity games (like Cities in Motion or Shadowrun Dragonfall) that run fine.
