I have the same monitor Asus 4K PB287Q and no alarm so far.
However I am not using the display ports.

I prefer the HDMI cable at resolution 2560x1440
With a good HDMI cable you can get a resolution up to 3840x2160 - refresh rate at 30.0Hz

Anyway thanks for the tip ;)

Total 30 Dlc's :dizzy: ---> 30 Euro +

GOTY Edition has 14 DLC's plus the game --> 11 Euro +

However dlcs doesn't have the tux icon.

So are all these DLC's required :o?

How big is Linux gaming? Some estimates
14 Mar 2016 at 3:06 pm UTC

Why do we care about how big is the Linux Gaming Community??

My point of view on this is that most of the AAA developers doesnt let the Linux community grow.
The people who want to start or at least try to use Linux with every AAA title they just say "fuck this" and go back to Windows just to play the NEW AAA Title.

How many NEW AAA Games did Linux have in 2016 ? as far as I know Only XCOM 2 ?
Most of the PC Gaming sites have around 20-25 Anticipated games for 2016, from all that games maybe only 2-3 will get a Linux release and maybe on day 1.

Gamers doesnt care about OS
They care about two things --> Performance and Availability
That is what Valve is trying to do with Vulkan.
Valve already knows that and when they are ready , they have many ways to advertise how Linux is better than Windows but they are not ready yet.
Imagine in a Dota 2 sponsored by Valve Final tournament the winner says
" I am using SteamOS because it gives me better performance, stability and no lag issues ,is incredible how fast it is comparing to Windows"

if Vulkan Delivers the performance we need and developers start supporting Linux from day 1 then the Linux Gaming community will grow in a snap.

I know is too early to ask about this but some other developers already experimenting with Vulkan and I would like to know if the release of Vulkan was any "game changer" I mean for bringing more games to other OS than Windows?

Also I would love to hear the developer thoughts about Vulkan.

just my humble opinion,

Well that is a big step and hopefully this will work for you.
In order to survive these days you need around 200+ Patreons if they donate 5$.
Lets hope that the community will support you.
Another thing is that some people don't like to be a Patreon and prefer a donation from time to time through paypal so maybe is better to check that option as well?

The more active you are in the social media(Twitch TV,Youtube,Facebook,Twitter etc), the more people you will attract.
Your articles doesnt have to be only for Gaming. Maybe from time to time, you present also a Distro all around just to show to people that Linux is not just a terminal with commands? Or maybe something else that will attract people? Like a Gaming Engine on Linux?

I think , It will be a good thing to reward your Patreons in a way but not forget also the non Patreon users.
Now what kind of reward I don't know. Hmmm...Lets say for example a developer gives you 10 keys for one game to give to your community , maybe give 6-7 keys to your Patreons and 3-4 to non Patreons? Maybe some exclusive wallpapers? if someone can do some wallpapers for GamingonLinux? Maybe also reward your twitch viewers with some Steam Keys while you broadcasting?

Anyway there a lot of things you can do, all the best and good luck :)
