Eastshade, the peaceful open-world exploration game is still coming to Linux

Quoting: tuubi
Quoting: GustyGhostI remember trying this one when it was still called "Leaving Lyndow". An absolutely gorgeous game. It looks like they've added a bunch of new areas since then.
Leaving Lyndow is actually "a short, first-person exploration adventure game, set in the Eastshade universe" to quote their website. The game is still available, but it's only officially supported on Windows and Mac.
It fully worked on Linux when I tried. Felt so... empty and lacking, though.

Rocket League to get a fully cross-platform friends system next week, along with the next season

Quoting: HopfenmeisterChat? As far as I know, Rocket League only has a handful of standard messages (like "Good shot!") to select from. Is there any mention of a full chat feature that I missed?
T for text chat, Y for team text chat.
I'm surprised you never saw anybody using it.

Quoting: buenaventuraI dont think I dare to do this with my laptop gtx1060, it would probably shorten lifespan I guess?
For sure shorten uptime with a single battery charge, probably shorten overall lifetime.
But then, nobody knows if the later will be shortened from 7 to 6 or from 2 to 1 year...
I wouldn't do it, at least not with my primary hardware.

(Your mileage may vary. E. g. it may be shortened. :D )

Quoting: liamdaweAlright people, let's calm down a bit. Whitewolfe80, you've taken such a small harmless comment far too personally.
After the first half of the posting I wanted to talk with him how this works out and all. After the ending, not anymore.

I hope things get easier when the kids are older and are able to have fun on their own for more than some minutes.

Quoting: Whitewolfe80Nice dig but thanks i have a pretty good life but besides which a lot of the things people claim they dont have the time to do is because they are making time to do bullshit things like get shit faced and do drugs i dont do either of those things.
Woken up by crying (every single day), bring my two (lovely) children to kindergarten, drive to work, full-time job, drive back, care for children, eating, maybe an hour of getting something done or relaxing, sleep, rinse and repeat.

I wish I'd still have the time to do some drugs... :D

Quoting: Guppyheh I had the same though when I received 4000 tokens "based on previous purchases" - why is it a round number? must be the max amount ^^
I guess they're rounding. I've got 5000. Anyone something else than 4000 or 5000, maybe not even a straight x * 1000 amount? Or more than 5000?

Sounds like a lot of changes are on the way for Valve's Artifact

Quoting: EikeI think this was been discussed long enough. Many people like card games. It doesn't matter that you (and me) don't.
Lol, it's not just you two, obviously LOTS of gamers would LOVE to see HL3, P3, L4D3, etc. You are definitely not alone, Valve is just being lazy, fat, and rich.
Actually, I never played Half-Life (the very first failed in matters of physics in the first minutes so I stopped), couldn't care less about L4D3 and doubt that Portal 3 could be any better than Portal Stories: MEL. I would play Portal 3 and HL3, but... I don't share the excitement of some people.
