Total War: WARHAMMER II will release for Linux on November 20th

Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoThat depends of your concept about what is an AAA game.
For me, games without Spanish voice overs are not AAA, and it doesn't matter how famous the franchise is.
This is an indie game for me... The same goes for The Witcher franchise.
I wouldn't call Total War Triple A either. Voice overs is an interesting line to draw. The biggest games have advertisments in the streets (Battlefield, Red Dead, GTA, ...).
But Total War isn't indie either. It's just an ordinary... "mid-sized" game.

It is time to stop porting games developed by others and start developing their own games, maybe with the financial help of Valve.

The eventual success of Proton will change the rules for game porters: Develop or die.
Ethan Lee understood this and now He is working on Proton.
That's a totally different business needing a different kind of employees.
They still can port to Mac if Linux doesn't work out, as they did the last 22 years.
And extend their business on mobile.

I guess there ary crypts in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, so, it's... cryptic?
And, hey, it's dark in the crypts, so there's some obscurity (like in darkness, not like in hard to understand).

Quoting: GuestI guess we must not have been playing the same game, because all I remember were empty houses and houses with guards/soldiers in them. I played for 2 hours and felt like I'd seen the entire game, never came across anything like this tbh.
These moral dilemmas and the helpless feeling were the most important part of the game for me. (I'm not into survival and crafting usually.) Some moral dilemmas might also knock on the door. According to Liam, they are adding more of this.

Quoting: GuestThis War Of Mine is boring as shit, it's just a grind, after you understand how the game works, it's just a loop of doing the same thing(s) over and over and over until you get bored and quit.

Don't understand the weird hype surrounding it, I mean it was a cool concept and all but not that well executed.
On my first night out...
I stumbled into the house of an elderly couple. They begged me not to take their medicine, only some food if I needed to. I took the food and left them the medicine they needed to survive.

Some nights later...
I came back and took everything. We needed it to survive.

I never came back to see what happened to the elderly couple.

--------------------------------------------------------------

This is one of the very few decisions I remember that well in my gaming history.

Tyranny had a no executable error. I had to copy the Tyranny.x64 (or something along these lines) executable to the "Tyranny" file that was expected by Steam. Is this a know problem?

I stopped playing the first one mainly due to this rock paper scissors nonsense. The second one doesn't have this, right?

Quoting: mylkadoes this, or any game have significant more sells, when its linux native, even though its platinum with proton?
i dont think so, so enix would make more money, if they dont give feral a license and let the linux gamers pay for the windows/proton version
Ah, I didn't think of lowering Square Enix' sales. I consider the risc low, though. If you're publishing a Linux version near the Windows version, Proton sales will be low. If you're doing it months or years later, most Proton sales will probably already have taken place. (I personally did not yet buy a game not natively supporting Linux and don't intend to in foreseeable future.)
