Quoting: KuJoHmm. Won't be playable for me. I have an R9 280, which is the second generation of GCN. According to the specifications, however, at least a 3rd generation card is required.
Maybe someone will try with such a card. Wouldn't be the first time a Feral game runs reasonable below minimum requirements.

Any ideas how someone can get out of their weekend obligations so they can play this instead? Asking for a friend.

Sounds like infectious to me...

Quoting: DuncTo be fair, the only Feral game I've ever had any trouble with despite barely meeting the minimum spec (actually slightly under it, in that case) was Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. And even that was playable. I think I'll wait to hear how others get on, though.
Deus Ex was the only game ever I had to delay playing until the next hardware upgrade, due to sometimes dropping to single digit fps counts.

My box fits the minimum requirements of RotTB, so I guess I'll be fine here.

Quoting: LeopardNo , but you gotta aim higher. We need tons of AAA's.
Sure, but I would count RofTR as AAA already.
(And a quick Google search seems to agree on this.)

Quoting: LeopardI'm ready for it. I hope we can create a good revenue for much bigger ports.
I don't think Tomb Raider is so small to begin with...

Quoting: cprnIs it a successful marketing campaign? Yes. New genre? IMO not enough.
I understand your doubts if this defines a new genre. Maybe we could call it a sub-genre of shooters?

Anyway, the most important question is: Is it fun? And I'd like to find out.
