21 years of Steam huh? Wow. What's your favourite Steam related memory? Mine is obviously Steam coming to Linux, and trying to get it all working. What a wild ride. When I had installed Steam for Linux (during the beta time),
it "welcomed" me with: "unfasten your seat-belts".

Quoting: grigiSo many people I work with avoid Linux like the plague. When you ask them why, they avoid the question and look to flee from the discussion.I guess it's considered difficult (which is not completely wrong) and people don't want to admit that they want to avoid difficult stuff.

Quoting: scaineAnd while I enjoyed that game, it wasn't the Campo Santo game were were all waiting for, and which years later still hasn't surfaced. Slated for a 2029 release. [External Link].. that's some Valve time right there. Sigh.I've put it on my wish list now.

Quoting: gaboverstaRecently a German YouTube channel made a video about handheld gaming desktops and articulated that they were all infuriatingly unusable. Windows being the reason. Naturally, the Steam Deck was the exception.Could you link that video?
This channel of Gamers gaming (and editing etc.) on Windows made a point out of the Steam Deck being great because it uses Linux and the customizability that comes with that.
We truly have come far.

Quoting: Liam DaweI cannot and do not want to comment on Fortnite, but not always bahaving according to one's age from time to time is so usual nowadays...Quoting: TuxeeAnd I don't care for Fortnite in the slightest. I'm waaaaay to mature for that crap.Guess I'm immature then for wanting to play it on both my desktop Linux and Steam Deck. Okay then.

Quoting: KlaasIs there a place to read something about this, maybe even on GoG?Quoting: ReyoldIs there a reason this seems to keep happening?Yes, most releases are just the Steam version with GOG's Steam crack applied – that's what GOG recommends instead of a proper DRM-free release.. That crack has no Linux version.

I'm not fully sure what I would expect from such a game, but this one didn't seem to provide it. I liked Infinifactory, because I wasn't sure I could build what's needed. I didn't get this feeling from playing the demo of Shapez 2. :-/

Quoting: JarmerDownloaded it this morning! I've been very much looking forward to this since the demo released earlier this year. Can't wait to get in some good play time this weekend! This is the exact kind of "factory builder" I want: no timers, no invasions, no citizens dying, etc... no challenge, no satisfaction...
