You will need to update your udev rules for the Steam Controller

Quoting: GuppyAny word on how they expect the udev rules to be updated for non beta?

While I'm comfy editing files and digging up group names it's the kind of "voodoo sorcery" that makes people shy away from Linux.
Quoted from the guide:
"We are working with distributions to make sure the necessary access is provided out of the box, but this might not currently be the case depending on your distribution of choice. "

I don't know where to tell that optimally, I guess Liam is flooded with mails:
Steam Link is off 60%, so it's about 20 bucks now (plus shipping)!

I wonder how big the problem of the "still" will be at release.
Release a year later and make sure you'll get way less sales on Linux than possible...

Given time and funding we know we can ensure a good quality port for both Steam OS & OSX based players.
I like the sound of that...!

Quoting: kellerkindtMad Max gave me a lot of unexpected good playing hours, so I can really recommend it.
Shadow of Mordor was a bit of a disappointment, I really hope Max is a bit more fun.
Mad Max was more Ubisoft Formula and thus less fun for me. Played Shadow of Mordor to the end (mostly ignoring tedious icon removal work in the later half), but not Mad Max.

Quoting: edddeduckferalThe games are released on Ubuntu, results on Ubuntu are accurate and are very similar to SteamOS but much easier to use and test. Using an unsupported distro and WM can sometimes cause issues you don't see on supported systems.
I'm expecting that, if no bugs occur, performance on different WMs shouldn't differ much. Do you have experience on this?

Quoting: Purple Library GuyEnglish is particularly weird because it comes from two main languages and a couple of secondary ones, with different grammars, all mooshed together (Old English, French, a bit of Old Norse, some Latin, miscellaneous stuff). We ended up with tons of extra words and smashed grammar.
We should start adding random German words too!

2016 gave me Weltschmerz!
Kindergarten? Angst? (I'll leave out the ones from the 30ies and 40ies...)

(I though English woul already be closely related to German? The Saxon part in Anglo-Saxon...?

Ah, by the way: I heard "Fahrvergnügen" is widely known in the US due to a big advertising campaign in the past?
