I was going to say I'm missing the special questions we used to have in the monthly surveys, but I couldn't come up with somethin interesting to ask. Maybe the following could the be a one-time question (instead of adding to the user data survey)?

Quoting: GuestI don't know if it's just me but I'm curios how Linux gamers are scattered around the world. Are you open to the idea of adding the continent where a GOL member resides?

Quoting: wintermuteFor episodic games (e.g. Dreamfall Chapters) are we counting the release date of the first episode or the final episode?
Did I overlook the category "Most boring point and click ever"?

;)

AFAIR we had (or at least considered) a sorting out phase. One or two days where people can state reasons why some entries are in the wrong list or such.

Quoting: Purple Library GuyI mean, I dunno how many of these top-selling games were technically "AAA" games in terms of mammoth budgets from big companies, but surely it's more important to have the games people actually bought than the most bloated ones.
Totally! This is AAA fun, not AAA costs. (*)

(*) I should think of actually becoming PR guy. ;)

As always, this is Linux release year, not general release year, right?

Did you add the statistics to the article as well or have I been blind an hour ago? X)

Quoting: tuubiYou seem to be missing some of them, maybe due to your location. I see 16 games in the silver tier, 9 of which are available for Linux. Payday 2 not showing for you maybe?
Ah, that might totally be the case!
It's not Payday 2, but it might be Football Manager or violent (zombie?) stuff.

A little statistic...

Of 12 "platin" games:
* all available for Windows
* 5 available for Mac
* 5 available for Linux

Of 12 "gold" games:
* all available for Windows
* 4 available for Mac
* 4 available for Linux

Of 15 "silver" games:
* all available for Windows
* 9 available for Mac
* 8 available for Linux

Of 58 "bronze" games:
* all available for Windows
* 27 available for Mac
* 23 available for Linux

(It seems to be more like a top 97 by the way, if I'm able to count.)

That's more than 40% of the biggest games on Steam. Better than I expected.

Quoting: Kels"Don't feed the trolls" has NEVER worked, even back on USENET.

It's even less effective when what the "trolls" want is your silence.
What I did sometimes is talking about the trolls instead. They neither get real contact nor silence this way.

Quoting: FeistA little frustrating but for the moment I don't feel that there's much available for me to buy.
A little frustrating but for the moment I don't feel that there's much time available for me to buy and play even more games then I've already got on the stack.
