I hope it sells well enough on Linux.
I guess I would give it a go with a Linux release sale.
Wouldn't have bought it back in my Windows times...

... and either these still did not understand that people want such old-school games (which I can hardly imagine), or developers want to have more freedom by not being tightly bound to a publicher.

Just had the same thought. :) I have "Runs fine for me on Linux." as the last sentence of a review. Should do that every time (when it's true, obviously). Just to remind people every now and then that Linux gaming is a thing and that the game they're interested in runs on Linux.
