Quoting: BillNyeTheBlackGuyOnce again you idiots on this site refuse to understand how businesses work. It's about time, but we are extremely happy to announce that Divinity: Original Sin will now definitely be coming to Mac & Linux. We will do everything we can to ensure that the release dates are going to coincide with the Windows PC release, but if that doesn't happen, it will be shortly after.
But but but they promise. They promised nothing. Period.

One part of business is customers making their decisions on whatever criteria they like.
This might or might not include having the feeling of having been lied to,
which might or might not make companies learn.
Yes, boycoting the game, which some people will do, could end up in them not making Linux games anymore - or it could, if they try to find out why people acted this way, which won't be too hard, make them paying more attention to what they promise and what they deliver next time.

A Good & Honest Video About The Alienware Steam Machine

* more games than current consoles
* maybe you already own games on it (seems to make Xbox 1 users happy to get to play at least some games they own for Xbox 360)
* you won't lose your whole library by default when switching to the next hardware generation later on

Quoting: GuestSo if:* easier than PC
- it's not cheaper
- does not have the same games as on PC
- is missing most AAA games
- does not have some exclusive games that can only be played on SteamOS
Then what is the incentive?

Quoting: sarmadWait a second. GTX 960 or GTX 960m? The difference between the two is day and night. Can anyone confirm it really is the desktop GPU inside that tiny box? They absolutely say so:

Besided from what I would consider false promises as well (the games shown), I like the trailer.
They invested some thought in what makes the product, the Steam Machines, unique.

Quoting: omer666You're talking about Wii U I guess ? Because not only did the Wii get a lot of games (1527 according to Wikipedia), but it also got a lot of big Japanese RPG titles, big platformers, all of the CoD shit and so on.So SteamOS has a few more titles before launch than Wii has at its end of life...
