Aspyr Media Are Teasing A New Launch Tomorrow

AFAIR they've got a shop themselves, this would probably be the optimal solution.

Quoting: titiHow to buy a game to the support the porting company the best way I can ? ( in this case Aspyr Media )Most important make sure it counts as Linux sell (buying from Linux, playing on Linux).

After reading their post yet another time, I got unsure if this really is about a game.
"we’re launching something new for our Mac and Linux users tomorrow!", that might be a shop or a launcher or something else as well?

Quoting: ajgpIf they would be taking the less easy way, porting, this could totally be worth full price for me, and maybe even an upgrade from my GTX660. :)Quoting: EikeShouldn't a VP port be way easier then this?VP port would certainly be quick and 'easy' though how good the end product would be is open to debate, while I had no major issues with W2, certainly nothing game breaking many did have issues to start with.

Quoting: ajgpI did enquire with CDPR about the W3 steamos / Linux version at the end of June and the response was that they were working on a SteamOS version but had no announced date as it was still a work in progress. But there was no clues as to if it was inhouse or with an external porting company.Shouldn't a VP port be way easier then this?

Quoting: AryvandaarMetacritic is shit, and it doesn't reflect anything properly. I bet people are downvoting it cause of the brutality.44 is the journalists' score, not people downvoting.

Anybody knows how well SteamDB port guessing actually works?
Like, how many of the games appearing to get Linux support actually got it, say a year later?

Side note: I don't like implicitly being called stupid for finding a new concept intersting.
Other side note: I'm going to cinema today, which will entertain me for less than two hours(!). And I cannot carry it home and play it back for a lifetime. How stupid is that!?!

That does sound interesting to me.
Imagine the endgame is not one endgame,
repeatable, beatable if you take enough time,
but the endgame.
You either save the world - or you don't.

Story-Driven Noir Adventure 'Knee Deep' Has Been Released

I don't know which game it was, but at least one wasn't stating clear enough (for me) that it is incomplete/episodic at the store. Really something that should be enforced by Valve (or other stores).

Quoting: KeyrockGah! So many great looking point & click adventures I want to play (Kentucky Route Zero, The Detail, Knee Deep, The Journey Down) and they're all episodic and none of them have all episodes released yet. And so I wait; I wait until all episodes are out.I'm doing the same for all of them except Journey Down, of which I bought part 1 when Steam for Linux was very new. And to be honest, I did enjoy both episodes very much. Maybe we should give episodes a chance? Dunno...
