I totally am such a Linux user (my first Debian CD set from 1998 must be lying around here somewhere), but I feel after about 14 years of no professional gaming (I somehow missed the Loki times), I've got plenty of patience. If we're not able to wait, how could we expect it from a freshmate? And in the end, the game's not going to become more expensive over time...

It should be mentioned that this game has actually been financed by the USA and is part of their recruiting means. One could call it propaganda.

So GoL has been around when I still used Windows for gaming, although doing everthing else on Linux for a decade already.
You've been there before the wave, and I hope now you enjoy riding it.
