Quoting: GuestSurprised so many are playing it if performance is so horrible still. I'd prefer if players didn't play it to put pressure on them to get it into release-condition. Have there been any patches yet to fix it?I am sorry but I am playing it on Linux and the performance is indeed horrible, but I already poured 40 hours into it and I don't regret it. It's an amazing game, and they deserve success and profit.

Hmph.
I was hoping to get it through Steam Family Sharing off a linked account, but it's not showing up yet.
Should I count on this not working (as some games don't end up in Steam Family Sharing) at all, or does that begin to work only after once a game releases, or something like that?

It's rather cute they recommend just an i3. Seems like a decently optimized game.
I have "just" a GTX760 but 960 barely beats in benchmarks so I think I am good.

Patience my friends.
I know the urge to play with balls is hard to resist, but in this case, time is on our side.

Aww yeah I was actually impressed by the stuff originally showcased for the game.
I could honestly use a gritty grey gun porn shooter MMO in my life, if this went Linux native, I wouldn't pass on that.

Source is just really bad at handling vehicles and generally mass physics and there hasn't been any Source 2 games yet to disprove that.
UT4 is also open source so they will have much easier time adapting the engine to anything they might need.

Oooh yeah this mod used to be a blast.
I really wish it went opensource and had some new blood pour in. It's amazing.

This is almost entirely work of Toby Fox, who worked with Andrew Hussie as a music producer, but as far as I know, that's where direct interaction between them ends.
Of course, Toby Fox was quite famous within the Homestuck community and there's a considerable demographic overlap between Homestuck and Undertale, as both revel in brutalizing existing genres of games and pop culture. But as far as I know, Hussie isn't directly involved in any way whatsoever.

Quoting: KelsBit of trivia, apparently this was mostly created in Andrew "Homestuck" Hussie's basement.I have no clue where you heard this but as far as I know, it's not true.

Aww yeah.
An amazing game for anybody who feels like they aren't yet entirely bitter and numb to the world around them.
I already finished it under wine.
I guess I will buy it for a Linux friend who hasn't played it yet to make up for it

I play Dark Souls on Steam because after the development purgatory it had to get on PC at all (and not even too well on Windows without using community patches for it), I am really glad it plays at least like that.
