The original game is great, even if the combat mechanic was a little clunky. It was engaging, had some good humour here and there, and managed to ask some good questions. The end, of course, left things open for the new game and from the trailers at least seems to take full advantage of that groundwork.

I guess 41 hours isn't enough to reveal its true worth. All I experienced in all that time was grind without any real benefit.

Kind of work-reward without the second part. At least with Wild Terra you get a sweet base out of it and there are some interesting mechanics.

I've tried RPG MO and I definitely wouldn't put it in the "good MMOG" category.

You also missed Ryzom, which has an overly complicated skill system but is otherwise pretty good, and Wakfu, which has a really cool combat mechanic, although I hear it's not very newbie-friendly right now.
