Still playing a bunch of oldschool (WotLK) WoW on a private server via Wine, plus a bit of Avernum 4 via Proton on the side. Starting to get the itch to take another run at Pillars of Eternity though, so I may switch over once I get it re-installed.

The art reminds me a lot of Tiny Bang Story, I wonder if the artist from that is involved.

Huh. And I was looking at AER in the GoG sale, but this is even better.
Is Torment any good if I didn't play the first game (and probably won't)?

I've got an odd craving to take another shot at Avernum 5, but I don't really want to screw with beta stuff with Proton. Maybe once it's got a full, stable release but not right now.

Oh, I see Hyperduck did the audio. They did the soundtrack to Dust: An Elysian Tail back in the day, and it's quite good.

Samsai did it on stream. It's a matter of try, try, try and if you die, try again.

I recommend the enhanced towns and audio ambiance packs from the workshop, they really make the place feel more lived in.

Mostly oldschool (WotLK) WoW on a private server via Wine. Probably not going to be doing much native Linux gaming for a couple more weeks.

Ah, that was pretty much my experience with the earlier versions on Itch. It's a grand idea, but marred by the fact that you're maybe learing about a dozen or so words without much context, and no idea how to assemble them into sentences. I was really hoping by full release they would have at least tried to address that.
I think if you were to learn a language from a game like this, it would require far more depth, and far more actual interactive instruction. A pity you won't find it here.

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world that PC was a synonym for Windows.

It's just so... wrong. PC describes the hardware, not the software.
EXACTLY. PC means Personal Computer, not WINDOWS computer. The term applies to any general computing device regardless of OS. Linux, Apple, Windows, etc all fall under the umbrella term PC.
