Ugh. Right away, in fullscreen it shuts down my other monitor and disabled alt-tab.

I should give TDM another try. Last time I tried to play, it was having serious issues with fullscreen on my system. And at one point I was getting no graphics at all, just a black screen. The new engine probably won't have the same issues.

Logic. Common sense.
If you don't know what you are doing, how likely are you to achieve what you want to achieve?

"Common sense", in my experience, largely means "matches with the things I was taught as a child and assume are universal laws". It leads to a lot of problems when presented with ideas and people that refuse to fit into simple little boxes.

How interesting that you mention that last part right after I read an article about how Bushido, the supposed way of the Samurai, was essentially bullshit made up by one man at the turn of the 20th century. And related closely to the similarly mythological idea of middle ages chivalry in Europe, itself made up well after the fact. In either case, personal gain was a bigger motivator than honour, and both Samurai and Knights revelled in their status as elites, and the upper ranks of both did pretty well for themselves financially.

I'm not sure how editing the title would change that much, but it does have the Roguelike tag on it. If you use the "Search by category" function on the sidebar and choose that, you should be able to find what you're looking for easily.

I was in on the Kickstarter way back, so I got it when it came out and I'm glad I invested in it. Great game, ran solid save for two graphical issues that I believe got dealt with pretty quickly. The writing is sharp, and really shows what Andrew Hussie is capable of when he's focused, rather than trolling his fanbase (literally). The bit about non-frustrating puzzles is right. They tend to be intuitive and fairly forgiving, but not so easy that it bores the player.

I am curious to see if Act 2 has the same price, or if there's more content than the first round.
