Hmm, I can't say there's much in the trailer that I can't find elsewhere, or make me actively want to spend a lot of time with the game. Crafting seems pretty basic, graphics look like a basic roguelike tileset with no animations to speak of, no real indication of the quality of writing, and according to the Steam forum they're still missing a lot in terms of basic systems (like inns for full heal) and balance is way off.
The ridiculously low price makes it tempting, but I think I'll wait to see what other folks say about it first.

I feel like the super-cutesy voice might bug me after a while, but everything else looks like loads of fun.
Agreed that the drawn artwork doesn't really fit that well with the voxel characters, but at least they look like two different takes on the same characters so I don't mind it much.

That "learned to draw by tracing anime" art is a real turnoff, though. I can't imagine looking at that for 20-30 hours would be an enjoyable experience.

Quoting: tuubiJust over CDN$4 for the both of them? Sold!Quoting: liamdaweHumble also just launched a new bundle with Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition, Bastion and Mad Max affiliate link as usual [External Link].I've already got all the Linux games in the bundle, but damn that's a crazy low price for Mordor. And Mad Max (which I enjoyed a lot more) for that matter.

I find it really annoying that Humble's store interface no longer shows what platforms a game is on when you mouse over them. You have to go to each individual store page to find out.

I do think it's a big point in their favour that not only did they not try to backpedal or get out of it, they recognized exactly what they did wrong and took steps to make good with the affected party and the community.
If anything, the worst villain here is what seems to be a loophole that allowed the dev to revoke the key in the first place.

Magic battle arena 'Magicae Mundi' has entered Early Access with Linux support

But well, Early Access and all that.

Quoting: 14I'm going to be sexist and say that those are some girly-lookin' sidearm throws. It doesn't look like they're trying very hard due to that, kinda just lobbing it out there. It looks like they're doing a basic shooter, but replacing thrown (magic) missiles (at the darkness) with the usual guns without much other change. If I were looking for a magical arena shooter, I'd want a lot of variety to the spells, arm and body movements, even if that slows the action slightly. Immersion is important too, and maybe you can have spells that shoot out a bunch of rapid-fire missiles, while others do movement limitation on the enemy and so forth.
But well, Early Access and all that.
