Storm United Massive Online FPS Gearing Up For Early Access
10 Dec 2014 at 2:13 pm UTC

I'm trying not to get too excited, but this could be our "destiny"! Now UE4, like all the engines needs some( or a lot, i don't know) work in order to get a decent performance on Linux. I tried all the demos from here: https://wiki.unrealengine.com/Linux_Demos [External Link] and a lot of them run like crap. Tho I have confidence in UE4 and i know it can overperform and overshine Unity on linux anytime, I'm saying is that:
1) It's an Early access game, issues and low priority of fixing them on tux is to be expected.
2) We can only hope they even gonna play test it on linux (or that linux version will be even released at EA lunch)
3) Game might turn out to be crap
4)Performance, performance, performance...

Tl;DR : YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! But don't get too excited and wait for (linux) reviews before buying.

That's an entire copy of the source we use which doesn't mention RF coming to Linux.
True, but now its highly possible that they will release it on Linux, since 2k seems to be on board of the Linux train. I'm just throwing it out there:)

Quoting: AstroSomething tells me they just couldn't build 32bit binary and that's the end of the story. It's pitty I bought this port and supported devs. This port shouldn't cost money. And they're worst of devs I know about.
Yeah! How dare they not support technology that everyone is trying to kill? An that's still alive due to way too long windows xp support! Seriously tho, get with the program dude, most new releases don't have 32 bit support, hell even mobile is trying to get rid of it(android L, new iOS). I hope for Tomb Raider next! Great work guys;)

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Confirmed For Linux & SteamOS

I think its gonna be native since witcher 3 is coning to ps4 ad well. Second one was only on win and x360 , so they wrapped it for small Mac/Linux crowd who won't make too much noise among gaming community. But they had to actually get it running on ps4 API so might as well get opengl version. Only speculation tho, time will show.

Crytek's CRYENGINE Powered Homefront The Revolution FPS Coming To Linux
2 Jun 2014 at 6:41 pm UTC

Plese. please make it run just fine and be released at the same day as all the other versions! Two things I'm afraid of right now. Crappy ports( i know new cryengine is "native" but we have yet to see how well it runs) and late ports.
