Quoting: GuestI just hope we will see Dirt Rally this year (please), although I probably won't be able to run it well.
Feral's on it, according to steamdb [External Link].

Surely it isn't a political system. Or are you one of those people who don't see the irony in organized anarchism? :)

Prison Architect broke the Geneva Conventions for the use of a red cross

I still see civilian ambulances proudly displaying red crosses, but never privately run ones. That probably makes a difference. I probably can find the Star of Life on some of them, but it's far from universal. Our local rescue department / emergency services certainly make use of the red cross. Nothing military about them. Also, I think the German Red Cross organization actually operates a majority of their civilian ambulances, and I've seen similar stuff elsewhere in Europe.

The point is, there's no global, unified approach to this, and I think the UK/US one is far from the best.

Quoting: JuliusBesides, if it was the coca-cola logo no-one would think twice about it, just because there is a humanitarian aid organization behind it it is somehow different?
This isn't about trademarks either. The concept is quite different. Besides, you'd expect Coca-Cola to sue anybody and everybody, just because they can. That's the American way.

I think any respectful use of the red cross symbol to depict health and first aid services in entertainment and media does more good than harm, by reinforcing the recognizability and power of the symbol. I just don't see what this is supposed to prevent.

Sure, you shouldn't be allowed to paint the red cross (or the red crescent) on your murdermobile, but that's very different from what happened here.

I remember this one and I remember being interested, but I don't think I ever played it. Thanks to GOG I just might.

Linux market-share on Steam dropped 0.08% in December 2016

@Purple Library Guy: Yes I know you expect Linux users to be taking up gaming and Steam at roughly the same rate that Windows users do. I do get your point. I don't agree on your conclusions, but I do understand what you mean. The steam figures could be bogus, or they could be fairly accurate. We haven't got the data to make that call. All we can do is speculate.

I do get a definite Amiga vibe from the screenshots and the music in the Steam trailer. Very promising reviews as well. Wishlisted.

Linux market-share on Steam dropped 0.08% in December 2016

Quoting: Purple Library Guy...one would expect Steam's expansion into Windows PCs and Linux PCs to happen at the same rate, and so if the Windows Steam population doubled, so would the Linux population.
This expectation is what I think is unfounded. There's just no basis for it. It's entirely possible that the vastly larger Windows population is currently taking up Steam more rapidly than Linux users. Or maybe the disproportionate change only happened during the Winter Sale.

Quoting: Purple Library GuyHonestly, I'm tearing my hair out here; everyone's giving me explanations for why Linux might have small numbers at a snapshot in time, and telling me they're explanations for change over time. Those things are different!
Please don't tear out your hair. This isn't such an important issue that we need to get emotionally invested. We'll see in time anyway.

Quoting: Purple Library GuyOne might say we shouldn't be sure of such a surge, but there's no reason to have no expectations of one. But stipulating no such surge, why should we expect a decline?
What decline? We're going in circles, but I still don't see why you'd expect every metric to grow linearly and in proportion to each other. There's just no good reason for this expectation.

I am sure, or rather I know Linux gaming is growing. Steam user base is also growing, and fast. These two might grow at different rates and those rates are not likely to be constant. Even in relation to each other.
