Cups being cups, and well.. who prints and scans stuff nowdays?. Except for me, of course.
I do! Funnily neither windows nor almost any linux distro has out of the box support for my printer. On Linux either the driver (splix) is missing or the printer is assigned the wrong model. On Windows you need to go to Windows Update -> Optional Updates and the printer driver is there, no it is not automatically installed.

Epic Games Store saw a 57% increase in purchases for third-party PC games in 2025

Quoting: SzkodnixSo far the only good thing in Epic is that they got regional pricing right for me (or at least in Poland)
Similar here, where I live if a game has regional pricing it will most likely be around %50 cheaper on Epic. If it doesn't then Epic will have almost the exact same price Steam does but in the local currency instead (doesn't change the end cost)

Antheas (Antheas Kapenekakis), who was previously part of the Bazzite team and creator of the Handheld Daemon project, but ended up being kicked out due to "repeated violations of our Code of Conduct".
Maybe I'm going to regret asking but what did that guy do?
They handled most of the hardware integration and testing for handhelds & other exotic setups like Intel Arc.

Quoting: StellaI do agree with antheas that the IWD change was too early. My laptop (which has Intel wifi) is fine but my desktop (Realtek WIFI) always disconnects sporadically since the update. Seems that IWD causes issues for non-Intel cards specifically. A lot of other people on the discord reported losing or worse wifi functionality after this update
The inverse for me on my macbook running arch linux, installing iwd and disabling networkmanager saved some battery life and made my moonlight streams more stable.

Q: Any thoughts on the anti-cheat problem for Linux / SteamOS? How can we solve it?
Implement the Windows kernel on Wine. Wine can load and execute Windows kernel drivers to some capacity, that is how some games with ACE already work to some extent. afaik Proton-EM dev is working on this. I know I know easier said than done😅

Awesome news!! Bazzite suffers from a lot of hard to reproduce, hardware specific issues and I imagine that is the case for other gaming focused distros as well. On bazzite's github repository, most of the filed issues are about problems on specific hardware and unfortunately remain unaddressed. Same goes for issues filed in their discord server.

This is the way to go, I am so delighted!

Streaming never feels alright for me. Even on local network using moonlight and 1ms reported network latency, I can feel something is wrong.

@soulsource how much difference is there between a cloud platform and, say, a Linux PC? Besides the scale of the cloud. Is it possible to reuse the software designed for a cloud and run it on a conventional x86_64 Linux device with perhaps minimal changes to the game client so it can locate the custom server? Same for Arm64 Linux, I don't know which one is more popular on cloud

Quoting: WoodlandorI’m fairly sure if you just add it to your Wish List, Valve will just send you an invite immediately.
That’s how I got it 6+ months ago.
One of your friends saw that you had Deadlock wishlisted and sent an invite your way. Valve currently doesn't send invites afaik.
