Fedora proposal to drop 32-bit support has been withdrawn

That's a relief, even if it's temporary. Hopefully the Bazzite team will rebase their distro - at least that's something that might be possible now. Arch seems the perfect match and a safe haven for gaming, as it's even backed by Valve. It would be a shame to see this project disappear.

Bazzite would shut down if Fedora goes ahead with removing 32-bit

This is very sad, but I can't help but wonder why Bazzite (which launched on late 2023) trusted using Fedora as a base in the first place, since earlier in that year we have seen a major Red Hat / RHEL controversy regards source code restriction (and probably many more before I joined Linux back in 2021). That being said, perhaps changing the distro base could salvage the project? What about using openSUSE, which also relies on RPM packages? It's most likely easier said than done (I'm not a programmer myself), but that got me thinking if this is really the end for Bazzite.

I've played it and didn't have fun. I'm glad there's a demo though, as it saved me money and time (for asking for a refund and waiting for the money to be credited back).

This game looks interesting, but being published by Paradox Arc (a division of Paradox Interactive) is a no-go for me, taking into account what they did with the game Across the Obelisk - it started as a game published by Paradox Arc and later it got integrated with Paradox Interactive and since then the game have tons of DLCs (just like all major games under the Paradox Interactive umbrella). No biggie though, since we have lots of other great games to play nowadays.

Ubuntu 25.10 goes all-in with Wayland, dropping support for GNOME on Xorg

I'm curious to see how Canonical will handle flavors like Xubuntu and Ubuntu Mate (among others), who aren't ready for Wayland. Only time will tell.

Edit: I just read that flavors are not affected, thankfully

Europa Universalis V from Paradox will only support Windows, no Linux or macOS this time

It's odd seeing Paradox not supporting Linux - especially now that Steam Deck is a thing (and it's a success). Go figure...
