Same here, this seems like a perfect fit for the deck, so I'll wait until they get it ready and then instabuy. I'm almost finished (well kinda finished, waiting on dlc) with Chained Echoes on the Deck, so it'll be a nice change of pace.

Steam Deck update gets a small battery life boost with the Frame Limiter

One thing I wish for longevity's sake: An option to toggle "only charge to xx% total" like ios does. It'd help the lifespan of the battery so much. I never have my phone charge past 90% because I want this battery to last for as many years as possible.

This game is so funny to me to read reviews / comments about. I suppose because of its multiple decades long history (some civ joke here I'm sure lol) ... some of the negative reviews actually sound like positives to me! People will be like "this is the worst civ ever, I don't have to micromanage my eleventy billion troops and resurrect my heroes manually anymore WTF GARBAGE RAAAAAAWWWWRRRRR" and I'm thinking "okay sounds great"

@redje - as eldaking said, you should go ask Harebrained how great a studio paradox is. That was pretty much as toxic as it gets, and that's saying something in this industry.

Paradox may have been a decent outfit many many many many years ago, but that's not who they are now. I honestly consider them in the same lump as Embracer. They're that bad. I'll come back and revisit this post when Haemimont releases their next game and one week later the entire studio is closed / sold for ip / gutted.

Welp. The Jagged Alliance and Tropico games were really good. Sad to see such a great studio go down in flames. Say goodbye Haemimont, you had a good run. I hope the talented devs can find good positions in other great studios!

Flathub adds We Love Games and On the go sections plus details on what's next for their infrastructure

You know, I've been using flatpaks via flathub for YEARS now, and it wasn't even until this article that I realized: I've never once seen / visited / thought about their storefront. I frankly didn't even know it existed.

On my opensuse install, I did everything via terminal. On my current fedora install, I do everything through the discover app. And I search the repo's and install / manage apps constantly all the time.

I am glad they've added this section on the store though, for the people who do use it.
