Two unnamed distributions, both with quite high percentages.
My fault!

I've been to the installfest with a distro with no name
It felt good to rid Windows users of their pain

To launch winecfg, to set the necessary dll overrides, I think protontricks is the preferred way:
Running "protontricks --gui" should let you select the game, the prefix and then give you the option to run winecfg.

Mesa 26.0.2 arrives with more bug-fixes for Linux graphics drivers
18 Mar 2026 at 9:08 pm UTC

Quoting: WMan22That fixed the softlock bug, however music is still playing where it shouldn't so far. I can't even hear the doc's voice over the loud music, and there should be no music in the tutorial section.
Oh, that's a pity! Guess I will give the PS2 version a try with PCSX2 instead.

Mesa 26.0.2 arrives with more bug-fixes for Linux graphics drivers
13 Mar 2026 at 5:16 pm UTC

Quoting: WMan22The bad news is: Everything regarding cutscenes continuing is broken, like everything renders correctly (except the HUD) but the dialogue doesn't continue and menu music plays where it shouldn't. Don't know if this is an issue with the game or an issue with proton, but either way MDK 2 HD is still unplayable.
Have you tried with native xact as per the ProtonDB entry?

Quoting: Linux_RocksWould running with a rifle be safer than running with scissors? 🤔
Neither is safe. Running with spoons is safe. Anyone wanna do a Egg-and-spoon race video game?

Xbox "Project Helix" confirmed to run Xbox and PC games - competition for the Steam Machine

Quoting: pbWhy watch some random dudes play games when you can have your best friend Cortana play the game before your very eyes, all the while unlocking accolades on your account.
Not sure if Xbox Gaming Copilot support that at the moment, but when it does it would be ironic as heck, considering they had a feature called Xbox Copilot [External Link] that would let your human best friend do exactly that! 😄

Quoting: BumadarThis is MS, where is the AI? It needs an AI agent and other AI stuff!!
See Xbox Gaming Copilot. It's already there on handhelds like the ROG Xbox Ally.
