Linaro reveal they're collaborating with Valve for the Steam Frame

I honestly can't wait for the Steam Frame to come out, been wanting to get into VR for a long time but couldn't decide on a headset, and this one feels like my dreams come true.
My inner nerd especially appreciates the amount of work Valve put in to improve Linux on ARM – I already tried out FEX on a device of mine running postmarketOS, and it worked surprisingly well – especially for Jackbox games!

The Last of Us now Unsupported on Steam Deck, bad look for Valve and Naughty Dog

The game actually works perfectly on my Deck, not sure why, but I'm lucky it does, as it's now become my favourite game.
Even on launch day, I was able to enjoy it after waiting 30 minutes for the shaders to build and turning down the settings a bit. I have it locked on 30 FPS and the framerate never drops below that. Even the crackling audio issue I experienced on launch is now gone for me.

Minecraft on Steam Deck Guide with Prism Launcher (and gamepad support)

Some tips for people looking to increase Minecraft's performance/Steam Deck battery life:
- When creating an instance, select CurseForge on the sidebar and search for "Fabulously Optimized"
- Select the latest version and install that.
Doing so will download a carefully curated selection of mods designed to significantly boost performance of the block game.
Since Fabulously Optimized uses the Fabric modloader under the hood though, the Controllable mod won't work, since that only runs on the Forge modloader and is therefore incompatible with Fabric.
Instead, you can use MidnightControls, which already comes bundled with Fabulously Optimized and just needs you to activate it in the Controls Options screen.
This controller support mod also makes GUIs much easier to navigate, as instead of moving the cursor like Controllable does, it cycles between the screen's buttons. Though I'm a bit biased on that, as I'm the current developer of MidnightControls

If you use PolyMC for Minecraft you should switch away now

Really unfortunate, as I really liked PolyMC and the innovative features it brought.
It seems like the first development builds of Prism Launcher are already available at their GitHub actions: https://github.com/PlaceholderMC/PrismLauncher/actions [External Link]

Here's how to get Steam Deck and Gamepad controls in Minecraft

Thank you very much for covering my mod and creating an easy to follow guide.
The Steam Deck is my whole motivation for this project, so it's great to see it running so smoothly without me even having been able to test it (Q3+).
