I have played Kathy Rain and The Whispering of the machines. Both are great games! Homages on other adventures are totally fine for me. I played the demo for a few minutes and everything seems to work fine. Will play through the demo tonight and give feedback on my system. Thank you for pointing this out! GOL is nearly my only games news source recently. I appreciate your efforts, Liam!

The only thing I am missing is the achievements and playtime counter in GOG Galaxy. I switched to Linux a few years ago and bought all my games on GOG before. But I wanted my achievements back so badly, I bought a couple of games again on Steam since I was using Linux solely (Witcher 1-3, Cyberpunk...)

Regarding the dock: I hate moving, easy to break plastic parts on any device. Same issue with toys nowadays. I have to admit though that I always loved translucent devices. If they would make the rails of the moving thing from metal and the plate from plastic, it might be a compromise price wise (say that three times in a row...).

Quoting: ObsidianBlkWell, good for those that want it, I suppose. Honestly, I feel RGB has gone a bit too far in computers. Some can use it to great effect, I'll admit, but, more often than not, it really does just look like rainbow puke.Sorry for the OT. The only useful purpose of RGB in my case is to distinguish the move/action/fight keys on my keyboard per game. Other than that I don't use RGB much.

Congrats on the move. I noticed the Thunderbird ad. People are right, not too intrusive. Doesn't bother me here. What bothers me is that they still did not make it possible to see the sender's email address in the message list. I used to use an addon that doesn't work anymore since they changed the whole shebang once again. So now I am motivated to use mutt instead. Still working on my config. And as soon as I figured it out, bye bye Thunderbird :D

Quoting: PhiladelphusHuh, weird, I haven't had a single crash in ~1.75 hours playing on the Deck (in "game mode"). Odd that there'd be that difference between two Decks.I found out that my Deck had an issue. Horizon Zero Dawn crashed frequently on me, like other hardware demanding games, too. I RMAd my Deck and got a new one. But people still have this issue with their new Decks. So I was afraid to play any demanding game since I received it back.

I do _NOT_ want to win this game. I will buy it myself to support the developers of native Linux games. Thank you for your ongoing support Liam. Thanks to the help of the community you have built I have been using Linux only and ditched Windows since a couple of years now.

I started playing it on the Deck. When using the game mode (steam mode?), I had several random crashes. Once when I was laying down next to the musician fore instance. When I started the game from desktop mode I had no crash any more. Did not matter, which Proton version I used.
I finished the game on the PC though and I had no crash there, either.
Yeah, it is a rather linear game. But I enjoyed it anyway. There is one horror part where huge eyes follow you. That could creep someone out. I would not let my 7 year old play the game yet. Too much action when those Zurks (I hope I remember the name of those red eyed "rats" correctly) chase you through the sewers. I was scared at some point :D
I might try to get more achievements later but not now.
