Why Are We Still Dual Booting?

- Why do you dual boot?
I don't
- Do you see yourself first as a gamer, then as a Linux user?
Linux user
- Are the 1000+ games on Steam and hundreds more on other sites still not enough for you to be a 100% Linux gamer?
Too many, ain't got enough time to play all games I want and which get released.
- If you feel so passionately about Linux that you’ll take questionable actions to defend it, then why not do the most simple thing and stop gaming on Windows?
I did.
- As someone with a tendency towards a specific genre, do you feel the current Linux suggestion doesn't cater to your gaming needs?
Well, MMOs are still lacking, but we'll get SotA.
I don't

I stopped dual booting and using wine some time ago.
I am glad to see Linux ports, and I'll support the companies doing them with my money. Despite the fact that I can't stand the "fiddeling" around getting games running decently on wine, and I don't own a windows copy :D.
We're even getting a MMORPG with SotA if that's what you like, and we're getting some nice RTS games in future too as it seems, we have dungeon crawlers like Torchlight 2. I don't see a particular reason to throw my money at companies who produce Windows only Games which are considerable hard to play on linux! Though, I do love StarCraft and always will, even when I can't play it anymore :).

I very much expected this. Though, a hint of a marketshare when they consider re evaluating would would have been nice, I guess we gotta' go with what we get. I still think it is not the best way to evaluate a potential customer number out of web browsing statistics (I think valve could tell them pretty well the number of potential rpg/mmorpg/rts players inlinux).
But the market changes, maybe we will see them change their mind in future. At least they say that they are watching and are willing to re-evaluate in future.

Strange thing, on my "slightly older" machine (550 GTX and i7, 4 years old) I do run the game on 30 fps too.
Yeye, my wife didn't hide the cc, she wanted to play the game too and bought it on her acc before I got home from work, so I get to buy it too :D.
And I do love it runs a decent windowed mode.

I need to message my wife to hide my credit card :D.
Even though, my PC is pretty old with a first gen i7 and gtx550, I probably won't be able to play it at all :D. But we'll see.

Most importantly: matte display :D.
The config option I'd use would be pretty expensive, but I'll need a new laptop this year, so I'll probably give it a look later this year.
