A lot later than expected, but the open-world pirate RPG 'Tempest' is now in Beta for Linux

Can you ask if AMD/Mesa is supported? I Ican't find any information on this. I'll probably give it a shot on AMD anyway, but it's christmas and I don't have money to throw out of the window right now :D.

This is certainly a sign that they plan working Vulkan only for Linux ports in future. I like that, because on my hardware the Vulkan ports were better playable, and even with OGL in Mesa moving forward / improving a lot, Vulkan will very likely be our future in gaming.
Space Pirates And Zombies 2 releases in full with great Linux support

Certainly a game I could like.
Anyone tried it on AMDGPU?

SteamOS is still alive with a new Beta, although it's a rather uninteresting one

A dream comes true. I hate that all laptops with decent graphics capabilities came with nvidia. I was looking for a model with intel + amd or amd + amd for quite some time, but nothing suited me.
If they make this true, I'll have to get myself a new laptop. Finally.

I liked the game, for me it was engaging and fun.
Despite that I still can't see the difference between Ravens Cry and Vendetta (both suffer the exact same issues including speech synchronization, animation, storyline bugs etc., no differences at all).
Sad was that I always get stuck on a certain storyline bug, so I never could complete the game. This was never fixed, and by now I doubt it will be fixed. This was not just pointed out by linux gamers, but windows as well. Some say it's a savegame bug, but I started from scratch like 10 times, and always got stuck on the same point. I have doubts that only I run into a storyline bug which is random 10 times in a row, so I very likely manage to "reproduce" the deadlock for some reason (the quest was Looking for the Mercenaries, the body was simply gone after I killed the two or three mercenaries, I don't remember that, so I couldn't loot the body).
The developer also states they have staffing issues, so issues to find OGL developers for the Linux/MacOS port. And that's not uncommon.

Looks like a nice game.
I'll wait for a sale and buy it, to try if it's working properly with my AMD card (I'm on mesa 17.2.3 atm).
And no, I didn't buy the wrong graphics card, still have a GTX1050 in the shelve, I just don't use it ;-).
