If the developer is open to a port, we could send Ryan Gordon a hint to the developer :D ..

Hard to tell without a price tag on it. For 20-30 Euro - sure. For 60 - not so much.

If he could just do a port of the Blizzard Engine... and convince them to support it :-).

Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth released with day-1 Linux support, it’s fantastic

Now I hope they work fast. Played through, and can't wait for the 2nd book.

Though, some decisions and talk options are not like in the book, sadly, as when talking King Steven, in the book the talk had an option which seems not to be there.

Just played the first hour, it's beautiful! Rather not like an adventure but like a novel telling game. Quite fascinating, hope we see more games like that.

Quoting: FeistOK, never heard of "Ken Follet" or this before but it sounds great so I´ll be sure to pick this one up.
Check the book series to the game, its a joy to read.

RPG 'Shroud of the Avatar' has a free trial going again

Quoting: DrMcCoyI started downloading it. While it did, I checked to see how much the full game would cost. $40. Okay, fine.

Then I saw a shop with loads and loads of stuff, like home decorations for $10 - $100. And a boat for $300. Then I googled a bit and found this Eurogamer article about the real-money housing market [External Link] and yeah... I aborted the download.

This is not really something I want to be part of. Hell, I could just play EVE Online if I wanted to live in a libertarian hellscape.
I've backed this game very early on, when it wasn't clear how it would become. What you describe drove me quite off a bit too. But since I love to play this kind of game as crafter, I'll very likely give it a shot anyway.

Depends on where they go from there, it could become pay2win. Not going there.

What games do you want ported to Linux? Feral Interactive want to know again

I'll go with
Elder Scrolls Online
Settlers 7
Anno Series
Dragon Age: Inquisition
The Witcher 3
GTA V

Sadly the only ones I do not own is Settlers 7, DA:Inq and GTAV.
