Blue and Yellow cake hey........ That brings me back to an old memory from school........ In scripture class in Primary School we got a colouring in book and I coloured Jesus in a blue and yellow Parramatta Eels jersey........ I got kicked out of scripture class for that....... Good times.......

Dolphin is a fantastic emulator....... Easily one of the best....... I look forward to seeing more frequent updates to this already awesome emulator......

I just finished playing some Test Drive Unlimited PS2 version....... Probably the closest thing to Forza Horizon I will ever get to play...... And it still holds up really well today.......

Driving along the Hawaiian cost line in a Jaguar XJ220 is still so, so good.....

Indeed, that suggests that if one resists to the hype of the moment, it would enjoy games at very low prices, hardware at very low prices, games fixed from release bugs, and the more you wait, the less the probability the game will be removed.

Indeed..... I am in the same boat as you....... If you have ever seen the Weekend Players Club threads on the forum here...... You would see that I mostly play emulated games on my 8 year old PC.......

I have very..... VERY little interest in modern gaming..... So missing out on shiny new games really doesnt worry me....... The big worry though for me is that IF I get interested in playing current day games in 10....... 15+ years time....... Will they still be on sale???....... Or would the window have been closed forever???.....

Digital stores were meant to make the buying window longer (Ideally until the game no longer worked on new operating systems/hardware)....... But we are seeing more and more and more games getting removed from digital stores far earlier than they really should........

And hell even if I did buy the games when they were available...... Will they take have taken them off me by then...... Could this be the new FOMO???....... Play now or miss out..... FOREVER.......

This was always bound to happen sadly..... With licenced cars and music.....
Forza Horizon 4 only came to steam in 2021 and now its going to be gone forever...... That is a very tiny window on purchase......

When GTR2 re-released the games on Steam they lost the Ferrari and Porsche licence...... And they had to make the Ferraris and Porsches gray bricks and also make them non selectable by the player......... So this is not a new issue at all......

Thankfully I have never cared about Forza(Or anything that requires a Xbox Live Account)........ But it does indeed suck for anyone who might care in the future who never had a chance to buy it when it was available.......

Those contracts gives them reasons to remove the pesky older cheaper games...... And release a newer shiner more expensive game that will also be gone in a few short years and then the cycle continues.......

EA and 2K do this as well with their games...... Only F1 23 and F1 24 are available on Steam........ WWE 2K23 and WWE 2K24 are the only ones on steam as well..... Same with the likes of Madden and NBA......

It all boils down to money...... What a time to be alive.......
