As far as I know only Flatpack provides this feature...
Another drawback for snappy is you cannot set up a third party repo for it (only the one from Canonical is allowed), which is probably the biggest issue for Valve.

And you can add use different repo and add various stores. In fact it's a nice solution for Steam because they can really easily integrate a proper Steam Snapp repo in steam.

The game is full of good material for hilarious stories of failure that's for sure. Even more so when they do the update to add in more mid-game content.
I have the same experience ^^. The first time pirates defeated me :D . And the second time an Isolationist Empire came with a 17K fleet against my 5K Fleet...

According to screnshoots they are using Ubuntu, a Linux distribution with unique DE, unique display system and unique patches to almost all librarys and unique defaults, hey my Linux traitors, do you know what that means? It means there will be all kind of bugs and issues in other distributions because game developers (engine developers also) dont understand that Ubuntu is "a little bit special kid" and at the end they dont support Linux they support Ubuntu.

- Using existing framework is a smart move. It's totally useless to dev again a new stuff if you can use an existing one. Unless you have good reason to do it.
- If you read the article (yeah it's difficult...) you can see they are working on specific problem for Wayland, so the headline is right and you are wrong.
- If you open your eyes you can see they are testing on a Fedora distribution.

It's because some games are announced on Linux but not published yet, like XCOM2 for example.

So if you filter by release date is not showing theses games.

I can't agree here. Percentage are interesting because you can see Mac + Linux at 10%. The figures about sales are low in the global. It's not something in relation with Linux.

And you can quote this part too :
