Dungeon Defenders II Linux Version Is On The Roadmap
5 Jan 2015 at 5:22 pm UTC

Quoting: c3027367After reporting bugs to icculus zero ducks where given, same happened to Red Orchestra and Killing Floor bugs.
Yes, those developers don't give a damn and Icculus can't work for free, so the games're still not fixed. I bought a lot of useless Killing Floor DLCs at the time and I bitterly regret now, won't be buying Killing Floor 2 until the first one is fixed.

Steam Client Beta Add FPS Counter

Quoting: Skully
Quoting: stssNow we just need something to be able to forcefully limit fps in Linux, like windows users can do with nvidia-inspector
I have actually written a ".so" file that I LD_PRELOAD into any game allow the following.
1/ Force vsync on
2/ Force vsync off
3/ Force a FPS limit of your choice (framecap)
4/ DYNAMIC vsync ( Just like you can in with Nvidia on windows)
Nvidia opened an enhancement request back in 2012 to implement dynamic vsync and we still don't have it.
https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/524735/adaptive-vsync-/ [External Link]
This feature and the fact you can't normally FORCE vsync on or off in linux, was the sole reason I wrote this injection lib.

It's been tested with 100's of games on steam both 32bit and 64bit. I have been meaning to clean it up a bit and place on github.
I might try and find the time to do so if people here are keen.
Hey that could be really great!

Quoting: neffoNo Witcher 2?
On the voting page it's said it's limited to native games... it's up to you if you consider Witcher 2 is native or not... Don't know myself.

[Edit] There is The Witcher 2, in the "T" letters.

It may be DeusEx: Human Revolution, simply because we deserve it.

The Latest Feral Interactive Newsletter Was Rather Interesting

Quoting: SeredI disagree with their last point. There are over 1000 games on Linux and that's only Steam. I mean, I do enjoy gaming but I don't have the time to play all of those, nor am I interested.
Well, I quite agree with them, in fact. A restrictive catalogue won't mean you will have enough time to try every interesting game released on the platform, it means that your criteria for buying a game or not will be loosened.

GamingOnLinux GOTY Section & Nominations Now Open
23 Dec 2014 at 4:06 pm UTC

Shouldn't there be a unique "Metro Redux" instead of both Metro 2033 Redux AND Metro Last Light Redux? Making a choice between either of them would divide the rating by 2... whereas it's meant to be the same package and the same release...

Outcast, A Real Classic Has Been Revamped, And Linux Is Planned

Indeed, not everyone will buy it; but it's one of those REALLY overlooked games that so many passed on when it was released. Having this on Linux would be awesome.
