Astro is disappointed by the lack of 32bit support for X-Com. This is a valid and rational disappointment (although some of the ways in which that disappointment has been expressed are a bit uncool).

If I remember correctly, the X-Com store page didn't state that it was 64bit only, which resulted in some 32bit users purchasing a game that they couldn't play (which sucks, but these things happen).

Yes he is disappointed but it does not mean that he need to be so childish and show his disappointment all the time. I am just amazed how log one person can keep grudge.

I think steam already has too much retro games so It is tight market and I do not think that too many people like them. I grow playing NES and Sega. But I do not like most of retro games on steam :huh:

As for me I need proofs from double fine that they can complete they're projects. As one of proofs I will take this game but will judge only when game will be complete :). And then if they will restore my confidence in them I will maybe support they're next project.

Nope. Still cool with my 32 bit system. And more than that, I have a big list of games I want to play on my 32 bit system. I guess, it takes me at least 2 or 3 years to play all linux games I've already bought. So, no crying and no grieving about a few games I can't play natively on linux. If I wanted I'd play XCOM. There is no problem to use Wine for that.

I am little interested here. I am nvidia user so I do not know. Was there a good AMD port for AAA games?

Aspyr is great and I love the job they've done but Feral is not good at all.
