Steel Division: Normandy 44 RTS announced by Paradox & Eugen Systems (UPDATED)

Looks great, but waiting to see Linux support out.

Now Eugen tends to release for Wincrap first, and then if game sells ports it to other platforms. That's why they did not port Act of Aggression :'(

Total War: SHOGUN 2 looks like it will be heading to Linux & SteamOS

Already own it. Great news anyway and I won't hesitate to buy it a second time to support devs

Project Cars 2 now has a trailer, with no mention of their promised Linux/SteamOS support

The fact they do not port the game is their problem. The fact they lie about a possible port is our problem and while the first statement is sad but understandable as long as it is said from the start, the second option is just unacceptable and justifies to boycott them.

Sudden Strike 4 looks like an amazing RTS that will have Linux support

Quoting: Vuko2000Damm Pre-order NOW
Never pre-order before actual release w/ Linux support !

BTW we also have Wargame series as RTS. They're really hardcore but they must not be forgotten.

Kremlin Bicêtre is a Paris suburb.

I don't think it is Assassin's Creed Unity, as it is protected by Udon't Play.

However Hitman would be relevant I think.

Civilization VI has entered final testing for Linux, could release soon, should be on sale too

For Beyond Earth the workaround is to set terrain texture to minimum, even on a GeForce 970 (w 4 GB VRAM and 1600x900 res). Otherwise they're simply invisible...

However on my GeForce 1070 w/ 8 GB VRAM I can set terrain texture to maximum. Looks like they do have a bug in their graphical memory management.

Now, frankly, CivBE is not a great game. And the add-on, while allowing to put cities on water, destroys the diplomacy so, basically, it sucks. And on this point it is not Aspyr's fault. Btw did not have any crash, "just" the texture bug on terrain.

It doesn't look like Homefront: The Revolution is going to come to Linux any time soon

Imperium Galactica II: Alliances released for Linux & SteamOS, seems native too

If you want to make it work under Debian stable (or distros older than Ubuntu 16.04), two things :
1/ in game directory copy file libGLEW.so.1.10 to libGLEW.so.1.13
2/ a) download libstdc++ from Stretch (testing) from here : http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/g/gcc-6/libstdc++6_6.2.1-5_amd64.deb [External Link]
b) extract its content using dpkg-deb -x
c) copy file libstdc++.6.so to the game root directory

Then you'll be able to launch it through command line (does not work from Steam).

The game does not start at all for me either.

When I copy libGLEW.so.1.10 to libGLEW.so.1.13 I get an error message :
./ig2: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.21' not found (required by ./ig2)
