You can use also setxkbmap but well, not fond of this. I used it once to trigger Skyrim console in game to debug a quest.

I stopped at the tutorial. Try to play it with an AZERTY keyboard and you'll understand. WASD on that kind of keyboard is not exactly convenient, and there's no way to remap the keys as of now. Sooo... waiting until a newer patch.

OMG just bought it for this reason ! I loved MGS V which works on Linux as long as you uninstall SteamVR.

It definitely looks like Aspyr dropped the ball as a whole on Linux market. It was already the case prior to Proton release but this just confirms, sadly.
