Game Saves Are Messing Up Our Drives!

Quoting: nllaI doubt they will, as changing $HOME may have some unexpected side effects. For example, should any game try to open web browser, you'll get new browser instance with new, empty profile... It's nothing mayor and solvable by symlinking, but I doubt that anyone would want to support it only to make customer's home directory less messy...Quoting: kozecRun Steam with changed $HOME, create symlink ~/Steam/ -> $CHANGED_HOME/.local/share/Steam. Problem solved. This is a great workaround which can be implemented right away by the Steam devs. How about we start campaigning for them to do it?

Quoting: dean36963Means you don't need to rely on any devs fixing this.Run Steam with changed $HOME, create symlink ~/Steam/ -> $CHANGED_HOME/.local/share/Steam. Problem solved.
Steam might clean your script when updating the game though.

What we meant by this is that it's not going to be available for consoles like the Xbox One, PS4, etc. But to clarify, it is being built for Windows and we are not planning to launch with MAC support, however, you could easily run bootcamp on Mac to run Skyforge. No plans to make it available on Linux at this point.Guy doesn't even know what is the question that he is answering.

Quoting: GuestWhy trolling? They are selling games for 10€ per piece, so they made only like 930 sales. With 5 games. That's awfully low and he has good reason to feel concerned.Quoting: EKRboiYou know what is WRONG? Going on your social media sites and crying to the folks who did buy your games (probably why they followed you on twitter after all...) that they didn't give you enough money. If that is not bad business.. well I don't know what is.This. I fail to understand that tweet. The guy released his games for Linux and now is trolling to annoy Linux gamers and lose sales. That doesn’t make sense. Maybe he was drunk.

I work in IT and while I'm not exactly support or "IT Crowd style" guy, I still have to solve problems caused by Windows everyday. At home I prefer something that "just works."
And rebooting to Windows just to play game is silly :)
