To be fair, it works A LOT better than the original Dead Island did on release. I completed an entire game without being able to craft since loot only dropped alcohol and brass knuckles. All the weird sand graphical glitches (also present in Windows apparently) are also gone as are a number of other oddities.
I can't complain really, except after playing it for a while I realised just how much better Dying Light is as a game, so probably just going to go back to playing that instead. It's a shame it wasn't released in this state a year ago before I'd played it through (not that it's perfect now) but yeah, my time with Dead Island has come to an end.

It's this kind of stuff I've been complaining about since the first Steam Machines specs were announced. All these terrible decisions end up doing is giving the machines a terrible price-performance ratio and make them pretty unappealing.

Quoting: bubouswhy one intel i7 CPU?Yup. Would make more sense if the next model up had a GTX 970 and still an i5 since it still wouldn't bottleneck the card.
have to improve the GPU and not the CPU, Steam Machine is to games....and i5 is sufficient.

Drug prices have an impact on patients decisionsWait... So like so many other things in Theme Hospital, the ability to adjust the price of every treatment and drug actually did nothing all along? Mind blown.

A few days of multiplayer community livestreams? I'm up for some strategy games if anyone else is :D
GOL is awesome, at this point it's sort of the backbone of the Linux gaming community so let's hope it keeps going for another 7!

I was literally about to purchase this when I saw there was no controller support. An RPG is something I like to sink a lot of time into if it's good and just don't see myself doing that hunched over a desk, shame :(.

If this works for me then I'll uninstall compton since that gives a bit of a performance hit.
Looks like both Dead Island Definitive Edition and Dead Island Riptide Definitive Edition are coming to Linux & SteamOS

Quoting: darkszlufAll it takes though is for 10% of that reaction to be positive and it would still outsell the Linux version tenfold.Quoting: wojtek88just look for the massive amount of shit thrown by youtube users on it compared to the fairly positive reaction here.Quoting: darkszlufthis is probably gonna be the first time that Linux may oversell windows copiesJust out of curiosity - why?

Tomb Raider and Darkest Dungeon.
Both were pretty awesome, but I got really hooked on Darkest Dungeon - first time in a while that's happened for me with a game.
