Changes to our Survey are coming, hopefully to make it easier and better

Sweet. Yeah, this is a great idea, leaves the door open for automated reminder messages and stuff as well if people want that.
Part of the reason I stopped doing the survey was that it got to a point where this kind of stuff needed to happen and I can't code or anything, so I'm glad it's getting done.

Sill enjoying it a lot though and in the small areas the framerate is excellent, even at the higher end of the settings.

Quoting: liamdaweYeah, I'm getting that too. Changing settings does pretty much nothing as well. I find it tends to happen most in the more expansive areas, so a view distance slider might have helped.Quoting: Xpanderohh so im not the only one with 20fps in placesNo, sadly I also have this issue on my Intel i7. I did note this in the original port report. It needs sorting.
i thought its just an issue for AMD CPU owners

I can just see this making Fox News or some third-rate UK tabloid and them blowing it out of proportion with it making global news, then some violent religious extremists seeing it and wanting to do to the devs what they did to French magazine creators and Danish cartoonists.
Obviously not a guarantee, but there's a chance, and if you're going to put your life at risk like that then at least make sure it's for a good reason like journalism or making people think, not making a game where you shoot bad guys.

Quoting: IlyaI don't understand why some people think this game is in any way controversial. Sure it is daring (it wouldn't be the first time terrorists attack content creators), but ISIL is the most hated terrorist group right now.I don't think it's particularly controversial, I mean some of my favourite games involve going on crusades and enacting genocide on indigenous populations. It's more just a deathwish kind of thing.

Quoting: poke86Yeah, it's incredibly annoying when you're playing with a controller and the game prompts you with "press backspace to do [thing]" and then having to press every button until you find the right one. It's these kinds of things that make their ports so good.Quoting: chris200x9@1:24 why does it say x to reload if they are on linux?Because they did a good job supporting controllers on Linux?
I hope they're releasing this month!

With Linux though, there seems to be more than a few bad apples though unfortunately. The amount of developers promising Linux support then going ahead and developing on DirectX or not bothering to plan ahead for cross-platform development is just crazy. Either that or it takes forever to get the Linux version.

Quoting: neowiz73all it takes is a few bad apples to ruin the whole bunch. cases like these only destroy credibility of the crowdfunding process for all the other devs out there. it's going to boil down to experienced devs that have good reputations that gain any sort of headway with crowdfunding. all of the small time start-up devs will be SOL because of these shady devs like this one seems to be.Yeah, it's what I've been saying for a while now. A few people tried to game the system or were dishonest and it's ruining it for everyone. Crowdfunding is the kind of thing where you have one bad experience or read about one terrible experience and you're unlikely to try it again.
